LHC Controls-Operation Forum

Welcome to the home page for the LHC Controls-Operation Forum which was held at CERN on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd of December, 1999. Some 140 people had registered ahead of the forum.

The forum was intended as a first overview of the operations and controls requirements of LHC. A summary report of the forum has now been published as LHC Project Report 378 and is available here:

The programme

Some minor changes to the programme were made during the meeting. An up-dated version, abstracts and speakers' transparencies can be found here.

Despite a tight programme, interesting and focused presentations were made with enough time for some discussion.
